ABOUT US

Company History

When MITSUI-SOKO Co., Ltd. decided to extend its Japan-based transportation network to the United States, the first step was taken toward what would eventually become MITSUI-SOKO (U.S.A.) INC. A resident office was opened in New York in 1971, and rapid growth ensued over the next ten years. With a focus on the individual needs of its client base, the company developed fresh, innovative and comprehensive solutions to import, export and distribution challenges. MITSUI-SOKO (U.S.A.) INC. was officially established as a subsidiary company in 1982, expanding its logistics menu and adding branch offices as demand for services increased. As a member of the MITSUI-SOKO Group, we are solidly positioned to provide comprehensive and integrated worldwide logistics solutions supported by the strong, reliable and time-tested foundation of our international network.
